It's a Journey

I wanted to start blogging on BlogSpot for two reasons. First, I want to improve my writing. Second, I want to practice writing where it doesn't hurt my professional profile at www.constructivworks.com. So through the boring title and the poor writing, let's begin the journey.

First off, I am a terrible writer. Being a marketer and a digital marketer where words are the most important tools you can use, being a bad writer is not good. I've been able to overcome this in essence since I have found people who are stronger at this than I am. I've used friends and family to help me edit my jumbled thoughts into correhent and readable structure. So in now particular order, I want to give thanks to Carleigh Davey and Kathleen Doll.

These two women have had the greatest impact on my journey as a business owner to date and I am grateful that they are a part of my life. They, to my shagrin, help me improve personally and professionally everyday. They are my life blood to not publish crap that doesn't make sense.

It's surprising though, that I have such a bad writing style. or is it? Many people think they are something that they are not. That is me in a nutshell.

The big difference here is I can learn to do anything. Once you learn it then you just need to put it into practice. From there, it's just rolling up your sleeves and getting to work.

Take a recent project I started, LED Light Bar, LED Light Bars and World Sites hosting. They are all side projects i am working on to augment my digital marketing experience. With LED Light Bar, its literally David vs Goliath. There are so many companies doing what I am doing that it is incredibly hard to compete. But I can do it, it's just a matter of time and effort. That is for sure.

So again, learn the process, try to improve on it and then roll up your sleeves and go to work. That's all that's really needed to tackle something that is a weakness and turn it into a strength.

Let's see where it goes and how good a writer I can become. :)
